Eventhough, I get the error "The Grid View 'Grid View2' fired event Row Editing which wasn't handled"... I tried in google, I'm unable to get right answer..suggest to create a method that would handle Row Editing event....
Hi there, Edit and Delete command names are reserved names and will trigger the events mentioned that your code isn't handling.
I handle the Edit and Delete events in Row Command event of the Grid View...
I've run into some funky problems with a gridview firing events which were not handled, when I've manipulated Data Source ID's and Data Source's. --- edited, more info --- That's exactly the problem.
Close() End Sub Do you have a Data Source ID= in your Grid View definition of you aspx page?
With thanks to Azim for helping me previously I near have a near full functioning form. However upon applying the Edit, Update Cancel I get the following.
I suspect this is because I am using the GUI and this will require some code per coloumn?
Data Bind() End Sub Adding to that: When using a Data Control, it will ask the Data Control for the data again, and Data Bind to that with the Edit Index set differently.
